Podcast Appearance- “Get it Off Your Chest: The Funny Side of Breast Cancer”
Humor can be quite therapeutic- especially when going through something as difficult as breast cancer. Podcast hosts, Andrea and Estelle, have created a wonderful show entitled “Get it Off Your Chest: The Funny Side of Breast Cancer,” and I was invited on as a guest. It was such a fun conversation, and I’m so excited to share it with you.
I’m featured on Season 1 Episode 7. Listen here on Apple Podcasts.
Earning a New Nickname
It’s not all the time when you appear as a guest and then earn a new nickname. But I do think it is appropriate. Apparently, I’m a “Natural-Born Fainter.” I don’t disagree, especially with how many times I passed out during my breast cancer diagnosis!
Our conversation together begins at 12:30, and it is all about my eventful biopsies. It is no secret that I hate biopsies. They are one of my least favorite procedures, and I have now had eight of them (I think- maybe it’s more, and I’ve blocked them out).
The first one in 2019 was definitely the worst of all of the biopsies I had because, well, why don’t you give it a listen and hear for yourself?
The entire episode is a great one to listen to. Estelle and Andrea open the mailbag to some reader comments at the beginning and have a hilarious conversation about pineapple. I won’t give it away because there’s no way to do it justice.
